The Cervelo RS model is a bike built to withstand the everyday punishment that serious riders can dole out. The RS has superb vertical road compliance for vibration dampening on bumpy, rough roads. It is has all the stiffness in th bottom bracket area you can imagine which was enough to carry Thor Hushovd to the podium of the Paris Roubaix. Road compliance can be a somewhat under rated attribute. Basically if the frame absorbs much of the road shock before it reaches the rider then there will invariably be more gas left in the tank to grab the "City Limit Sign" sprint.
