The thirty speed Norco Range SE (2011) is a flagship mountain bike offering. A few key features set this premium model apart from the next-in-line Range 1 (2011) model. One of these features is the SRAM XO drivetrain components, which offer a more consistent, smooth performance than the Range 1 (2011) model's Shimano XT components.
The Range SE (2011) has SRAM XX brakes as opposed to Avid Elixir brakes, which are stiffer and of a stronger grade. Features shared between the two models include a double butted frame, which makes for a durable design.
